Changing the Background of a Map View

This tutorial quickly covers changing the background color of a map view in ArcGIS Pro.

Access the Map View Properties
The background color of a Map View is set within the view’s General Properties.
Access the Map View Properties by right-clicking the view’s name in the Contents panel (yellow in the demonstration) and choosing Properties from the pop up (left-click is magenta in the demonstration).
The first set of properties are categorized under the “General” setting. There, you will find the Background color options.
In the example below, we change the color from transparent to black.
